Is it really a good idea?

The thing is many people don’t expect to keep their phones for much longer than two years. For the most part, experts say, those people are not going to notice much damage to their phone batteries before they start looking for a new device.

If that sounds like you, feel free to charge every night, and as often as you like in between.

Question 1: Is it okay to charge my phone overnight?

Answer: YES! All iphones and most android phones are made in such a way that they stop charging once the battery reaches 100%. There is no such thing as overcharging.

Question 2: Really? Are you sure?

Answer: For sure. That’s one of the many reasons why they are called SMARTphones because they’re wise enough to stop charging on their own.

Question 3: What will destroy my battery then?

Answer: Good question. Our phones batteries have only a certain amount of charge cycles or the maximum number of times you can charge it before it stops working properly.

In order to not reduce your battery life charge cycle … DO NOT drain your phone’s battery to 20%-10% or less and then charge it to 100%. This is the best way to destroy your battery.
